A fuel consumption monitoring system allows remote users such as Owners, Technical managers or voyage planners to monitor real time data of ship’s fuel consumption. The system can serve to Main engine, Auxiliary engines, and Boilers onboard the ship. A set of flow meters / totalisers fitted in the Fuel inlet pipe lines of those machinery will register the fuel consumption parameters and transmit data via a fast ethernet network to the ECR monitoring computer. This feed also sends data via internet to the remote recipients as well. A comprehensive, user friendly software and secured data transmission via internet is provided for better monitoring and planning of fuel economy.
