Signal Conditioning Relays
Maker - RS Pro, Weidmuller, Phoenix Contact
A signal conditioner is a device that converts one type of electronic signal into another type of signal. Its primary use is to convert a signal that may be difficult to read by conventional instrumentation into a more easily read format.
How it works
Signal conditioning can perform a wide range of processes required to make sensor output suitable for processing include amplification, filtering, converting, range matching, isolation. The input from a sensor is connected to the signal conditioner, which is then able to convert the specific input type into a signal that produces the necessary output type for the instrumentation used.
- Input - Voltage(0-10V, +/-10V), Current(0-20mA, 4-20mA), frequency, Resistance, Temperature
- Output - Voltage(0-10V, +/-10V), Current(0-20mA, 4-20mA), frequency
